Accident on BR-365 in Várzea da Palma leaves teenager and child dead Fire Department A car left the road and hit a tree on BR-365, in the rural area of Várzea da Palma, this Sunday morning (7). Five people from the same family were in the vehicle. A 14-year-old teenager and a 10-year-old child died at the scene. Three other victims were injured. The parents and another six-year-old child were injured. After receiving initial care and being stabilized, the injured victims were rescued. The mother was taken by helicopter by the Air Operations Battalion to a hospital in Montes Claros. After the forensic work, the bodies of the victims who died were released and removed by the funeral home on duty. The causes of the accident are being investigated by the competent bodies.
