Morocco leads the Arabs and Africa... a ranking that places it among the top 12 candidates to win the 2026 World Cup.

The sports statistics company « Opta » placed the Moroccan national team on the list of the most prominent teams nominated to shine in the 2026 World Cup finals, after giving it a 1.9 percent chance of winning the world title, placing it in twelfth place in the overall standings, ahead of all participating Arab and African teams.
