Egypt and Syria reach understandings to resolve an “emergency” crisis

Informed Syrian sources reported to Al-Watan that Damascus and Cairo reached an understanding to appoint the new Syrian ambassador to Cairo, in a step considered an important development in the process of normalizing bilateral relations between the two countries.
