Japan and Philippine Defense Ministers agree in principle for prompt relocation of destroyer after retirement

Minister of Defense Koizumi met with Defense Minister Teodoro of the Philippines, and in response to Japan's decision to allow the export of "weapons" in principle, they agreed in principle to aim for the prompt transfer of destroyers currently operated by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force after they are retired.
