The prices of sacrifices in Morocco continue to rise, as the price of one sacrifice may reach five thousand dirhams, or approximately five hundred dollars, just a few days before Eid al-Adha. A reality that has ignited widespread controversy in the Moroccan street, amid increasing questions about the reasons for this high price: Is the crisis due to climatic and environmental conditions? Or does speculation within the markets remain the most prominent factor?
