Minister of Justice Jeong Sung-ho is speaking after signing a joint motion to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Korea at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, on the afternoon of April 2. Senior Reporter Park Min-gyu Justice Minister Jeong Seong-ho announced on the 17th that the spirit of the May 18 Democratization Movement should be included in the Constitution in commemoration of the 78th Constitution Day. Minister Jeong Seong-ho said on Facebook that day, “This is the second Constitution Day since the launch of the popular sovereignty government,” and added, “The Bu-Ma democratic uprising and the May 18 Democratic Movement should be included in the Constitution.”
