Automobile manufacturer Daihatsu Motor Corporation has notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of a recall of over 290,000 units of three light truck models, including the Hijet Truck. There is a problem with some battery parts, and in the worst case scenario, the engine may not start.
