Taewon Choi, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said in his opening speech at the ‘49th Jeju Forum of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry’ held at the Shilla Hotel in Seogwipo, Jeju on the 15th, “AI has entered the era of providing answers, but the questions are still ours to ask,” and said, “Let’s use the AI ​​transition as an opportunity for the growth of the Korean economy.” He went on to say, “AI works as much as you ask,” and that the way we work itself needs to be redesigned to fit AI. He defined AI as “a big wave that we must ride together,” and said, “It will be a new starting line for those who jump on it first, but it can be a difficult wall to overcome for those who stand aside.” He continued, “AI is still only four years old, so it may not be perfect, but you have to work hard to feed it the data you have and continue to live with it.” He added, “AI that is useless to me can be extremely useful to a competitor who has diligently fed it data.”
