Hamaoka nuclear power plant data fraud issue calls for preventive measures in city council review

In response to the issue of Chubu Electric Power's improper data processing during the review of the Hamaoka Nuclear Power Plant, representatives from the Nuclear Regulation Authority attended a special committee of the city council held on the 15th in Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where the nuclear power plant is located, and members of the Nuclear Regulation Authority voiced an opinion calling for the introduction of measures to prevent fraud by power companies into the review.
