“Not up to date”: DIHK President wants to change the Basic Law to allow for more Sunday openings

Bakeries, pastry shops and libraries will in future be allowed to open longer on Sundays - unlike brick-and-mortar stores. The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry complains that the shop closing law is “a relic of the past”. He wants to enable Sunday openings every week.
