Roughly speaking Kazuhiro Maeda (63), former Commissioner of the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, died while climbing Mt. Iwate. Maeda was climbing the mountain with six acquaintances when he felt unwell and collapsed near the 8th station. Morioka Nishi Police Station is investigating the death as a death due to illness, and his death was confirmed shortly after noon on the 12th. Read article
