Stefan Evers is supposed to lead the Berlin CDU out of the crisis and to victory in the elections in September. The designated top candidate is setting the capital on a course of austerity, doesn't believe in free meals for schoolchildren of well-earning parents and wants to involve social welfare recipients in the fight against littering.
