With the end of the Diet session just five days away, senior members of the House of Councilors from both the ruling and opposition parties appeared on NHK's Sunday debate.The Liberal Democratic Party expressed its intention to ensure the passage of the remaining bills, including the Imperial House Law Amendment Bill, while the Constitutional Democratic Party called for deliberations to be carried out carefully and not based on a fixed schedule.
