Naomi Osaka will compete in the women's singles quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championship, one of the four major tennis tournaments, which is scheduled to be held late on the evening of the 7th. If Osaka wins, she will be in the top four for the first time in this tournament, and only the second Japanese female player to do so, after Kimiko Date in 1996.
