Britain: Announcing the death of the King by mistake puts a British radio station in an embarrassing position

In a mistake that sparked much controversy, a British radio station announced live on the air the death of King Charles III, before quickly retracting and apologizing for “activating the king’s protocol,” while the king was making an official visit to Northern Ireland.
