Due to the increased activity of the Baiu front, heavy rain is expected to occur mainly in western Japan, and there is a risk that a linear precipitation band will form into the evening of the 4th, especially in northern Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Japan Meteorological Agency is urging people to be extremely careful about landslides, and to be on guard against flooding of low-lying land and rising river waters.
