“Establishing a thorough disaster response based on field experience” Lee Oh-sook, head of the Jeonnam Gwangju Unified Special City Fire Department Headquarters. The Jeonnam Gwangju Unified City Fire Department announced on the 1st that Fire Chief Superintendent Lee Oh-sook was inaugurated as the first head of the Jeonnam Gwangju Unified City Fire Department. This new head of the headquarters is the first female firefighter to be promoted to the rank of fire inspector. Gwangju Unified City in Jeollanam-do raised the rank of the head of the integrated fire headquarters to fire inspector in order to oversee the firefighting work in each region of the existing Gwangju City and Jeonnam.
