Two buses collided on Tuesday afternoon near Bardoli in Surat district in Gujarat. 7 passengers died in the accident, while more than 10 were injured. A bus caught fire after it overturned after the collision. Due to this some passengers have been seriously injured. Fire brigade, medical and rescue teams have reached the spot. Both the buses that crossed the divider and collided with the bus coming from the other lane were passing through Maharashtra. The accident occurred while trying to save a tanker that had overturned on the road. While trying to avoid collision with the tanker, a bus driver lost control over the steering and the bus crossed the divider and went into the other lane and collided with another bus coming from the front. Both the buses were at speed. One of these buses caught fire as soon as it overturned on the roadside.
