Several States have raised concerns over the Centre’s new rural employment scheme, VB-G RAM G, ahead of its July 1 rollout. An RTI reply has revealed that Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand sought a review of the funding pattern, while other States flagged concerns over wages, the proposed blackout period and delayed payments.
