While the Guardianship Council was welcoming the minors, the parents arrived at the scene. According to the Military Police, the two showed signs of drunkenness, a situation confirmed by the breathalyzer test. The couple was arrested in the act and taken to the Civil Police for abandonment of an incapacitated person. During the incident, teams discovered that there was a seventh child in the family. She was later located at another residence. The seven children remain under the protection of the Guardianship Council, which monitors the case and evaluates the appropriate protection measures.
