The joint venture agreement signed between Italian defense and aerospace giant Leonardo and Türkiye's leading UAV manufacturer Baykar received conditional approval from the Italian government. In this context, Rome stipulated that the sale of jointly produced UAVs should be limited to countries compatible with the EU and NATO lines.
