Shooting leaves at least two injured in Osasco, Greater SP Two suspects, aged 31 and 42, were killed by military police during an approach in Osasco, Greater São Paulo, on Tuesday afternoon (16). The shooting was recorded by security cameras obtained by TV Globo (see above). According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), a team was patrolling Avenida Osvaldo Costa when they suspected a vehicle with two occupants. As they approached to carry out the approach, they realized that one of the men was armed. Subsequently, there was police intervention, and the two suspects were shot, according to the SSP version. The cameras recorded part of the incident. At 5:17 pm, a silver car appears at high speed, followed by a police car. About 20 seconds later, it is possible to hear at least 11 gunshots. Police approach ends with two suspects dead in Osasco, on Tuesday afternoon (17). Montage/g1/Reproduction Afterwards, three military police officers disembark from the vehicle with weapons drawn and advance towards the vehicle being pursued. The images do not allow us to see the occupants in the silver car. The men were helped by rescue teams, but they did not survive their injuries. In the vehicle, a .380 caliber pistol and a .38 caliber revolver were seized, both with the numbers shaved off, as well as a cell phone and other objects, according to the SSP. The case was registered in the 5th Police District of Osasco as a homicide resulting from opposition to police intervention and resistance.
