IBGE opens two selections with almost a thousand vacancies for Agricultural and Homeless Population censuses in Bahia

In the first selection, to work exclusively on the 12th Agricultural, Forestry and Aquaculture Census, 876 opportunities are open in Bahia, 40 in Salvador and the remaining 836 in 114 municipalities in the interior of the state.
All of them are temporary contracts of up to 12 months, which can be extended according to the needs of the census operation, and require complete secondary education.
Vacancies for the Agricultural Census are distributed across five functions, with salaries ranging from R$2,128 to R$4,008. To perform three of these functions, you must have a valid driver's license, category B.
In addition to salaries, the people hired will be entitled to benefits such as food allowance of R$1,192, transportation allowance, preschool allowance, proportional vacations and proportional 13th salary.
The contractors will work on administrative, operational, supervisory and technological support activities in the Agricultural Census. Among the expected duties are monitoring data collection in the field, managing teams of census takers, supporting information technology, in addition to the administrative organization of collection stations.
There are vacancies for people with disabilities, black or brown people, indigenous people and quilombolas.
Registration for this selection process is now open and runs until July 1st, at 11pm (Brasília time), exclusively via the website of the responsible company, the Brazilian Institute of Training and Capacity Building (IBFC). The registration fee is R$53.
The objective test is expected to be carried out in September, and the final result should be released in December 2026.

The second selection process opened by IBGE is for temporary work in the Agricultural and Homeless Population censuses and offers 1,414 vacancies in the country as a whole, only in the capitals, 93 of which are in Salvador.
Of these, 54 opportunities are for Census Analysts. They require complete Higher Education with a degree in areas such as agronomy, social assistance, social sciences, journalism, information technology, among others. The remuneration is R$5,255.40.
Another 39 vacancies are for Quality Census Agent (ACQ) and require high school education, paying R$2,932.
All approved people will also be entitled to benefits such as food allowance (R$ 1,192), transportation and preschool, vacations and proportional 13th salary. As in the other selection process, there are vacancies for people with disabilities, black or brown people, indigenous people and quilombolas.
Among the responsibilities foreseen for analysts, activities include planning, collecting and analyzing data, preparing technical reports, developing systems, producing content and supporting field teams, depending on the area of activity.
Quality census agents will have a strategic role in controlling and verifying the quality of the information collected, supervising the work of census takers.
Registration for this second selection process begins at 10 am this Wednesday (17th) and ends at 11:59 pm on July 15th, exclusively online, on the website of the company responsible for carrying it out, Instituto Avalia. Fees cost R$37.50 for Census Analyst and R$41.76 for Quality Census Agent.
The objective test is expected to be carried out in August, and the final result should be released in November 2026.
