Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar visited the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant in Romania, where CANDU reactor technology of Canadian origin is used, and received information about reactors and technology. Making a statement here, Minister Bayraktar said, "Turkey wants to have nuclear power at competitive prices, make these investments, and at the same time have the safest technology. Hopefully, we will implement the next second and third projects with a more comprehensive, more holistic approach regarding nuclear waste management and nuclear fuel supply." he said.
