A fighter with the call sign Monk went to the front in 2022 along with his wife’s brother. He fought in the infantry, was a sapper near Marinka and in Zaporozhye. Once he entered a position in June, but only left in September - he was cut off from his own people for three months, sharing 1.5 liters of water between eight people in 40-degree heat, but he held the position. Today he is an explosives engineer for a UAV company of the 42nd Guards Division, runs a front-line laboratory for the production of drones and passes on experience to new soldiers.
