Dancer Pedro Seara had to improvise and concentrate so as not to go out of character during a cat invasion on stage at a performance of the tragic story of "Romeo and Juliet" in Turkey. He, who graduated from the Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil, in Joinville, North of Santa Catarina, told g1 this Tuesday (16) that he initially thought it was a bird, since the performance was in the open air.
The stage invasion took place on Wednesday (10), was filmed by the public and went viral on social media. The cat plays with the dancer's hair, who was lying on the floor. Then, Seara is pulled by her colleague (watch above).

The unusual situation occurred in the city of Izmir. Before the feline invaded the stage, he had already been seen by the cast.
"We had already seen this cat hanging around. It appeared backstage, in the wings. It already kind of wanted to appear and then the crowd was restraining it. But, as the cat is a very sacred animal in Turkey, no one had the attitude to remove it from the environment", explained Seara.
Initially, he thought it was a bird: "When he arrived on stage, I didn't realize it, but I felt that he had a strange body. I thought it could be a bird because someone had already said 'have you ever thought about whether a bird shits on us here dancing?'", he continued.
"When he started licking me, then he started scratching, I imagined it was the cat from the beginning. I even moved my arm a little because I started to feel pain, but soon I was dragged away by my co-worker. She kind of saved me from the situation."
Then, the show continued normally, as the cat went to the bench on the stage. According to the dancer, the feline had no guardian.
The performance was given by the Russian Imperial Ballet Company, with the main roles played by Pedro Seara and Lara Korss. At the end of the show, the kitten appeared in the arms of one of the dancers, while the cast thanked the audience.
Graduated in Joinville, Pedro Seara works as a guest main soloist for several companies and theaters in Russia and tours theaters.
