The Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) launches this Wednesday (17th), at 12pm, the new portals for radio stations Nacional and MEC. The initiative, part of the celebrations of Rádio Nacional's 90th anniversary, celebrated on September 12, modernizes the stations' digital presence and offers a more intuitive navigation experience for the public, with improvements in accessibility, performance and content consumption on different devices. With the change, all information from radio stations Nacional and MEC will now be available in two exclusive environments: radionacional.ebc.com.br and radiomec.ebc.com.br. EBC's Transmedia and Portals manager, Daniel Roviriego, believes that the new websites represent an important advance in the digital strategy of EBC's radio stations. "In addition to modernizing the visual experience and navigation, we now offer an integrated player that allows the public to continue listening to programming live or on demand, while accessing news, programs and other content", he explains. "The inclusion of an area dedicated to videocasts and optimization for cell phones and tablets follows new trends in media consumption and makes our content more accessible to different audiences", he adds. Roviriego also remembers that more new features and improvements will be implemented in the second half of the year and that the entire collection built over the years on the old website was preserved and migrated to the new platforms. Programs, news, reports and historical content will continue to be available, ensuring the maintenance of the memory built over the years. The portals also have exclusive pages for each program and a podcast center. The reformulation is part of EBC's strategy to strengthen the digital presence of its vehicles, expand the reach of public broadcasters and offer listeners a more modern, integrated and connected experience to new ways of consuming content.
