Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) Director Shikha Goyal said the biggest loss was due to business and investment related frauds, where 127 doctors lost ₹ 22.39 crore. Apart from this, many cases of cyber crimes related to digital arrest, identity theft, fake advertisements, job, loan, insurance, UPI, matrimonial and cryptocurrency have also come to light. Officials at the cyber security awareness program said that even highly educated and professional people are not safe from cyber fraud.
