The proposal submitted by CHP to investigate the problems experienced by teachers in the public and private sectors was rejected by the votes of AKP and MHP in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Opposition MPs criticized interview grievances, low wages and police intervention against teachers and called for a solution.
