The process of Ukraine's accession to the European Union may take a long time. Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated this against the backdrop of the start of negotiations on Kyiv’s European integration. Meanwhile, Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orban recalled that Kyiv is obliged to comply with the bilateral agreement on the protection of Hungarian national minorities, otherwise the negotiations will be frozen. Analysts do not believe that the start of a dialogue with Ukraine will guarantee its membership in the EU, because Kyiv will need the unanimous approval of all community members and the implementation of large-scale reforms.
