At the time of registration, participants who require specialized assistance or wish to be addressed by their social name must make requests to the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), during the same period: from June 15th to 29th.
Treatment by social name, intended for trans people, will be presented in all Enamed documents and administrative materials, if the participant has their social name registered with the Federal Revenue Service.
Who should participate
According to the notice, the exam is mandatory for students completing undergraduate medical courses evaluated in Enade 2026, as long as they are qualified and registered by the course coordinators. The theoretical exam will also be mandatory for fourth-year medical students enrolled in educational institutions.
In addition, doctors who have already graduated in previous years and are interested in using Enamed results to directly access the National Residency Exam (Enare) 2026/2027 can register voluntarily.
Registration
When entering the Enamed System to fill in the registration data, the participant must provide the Individual Taxpayer Registration Number (CPF), date of birth, a valid email address, as well as a landline or cell phone number for Inep to contact, if necessary.
The personal data provided must be the same as those registered with the Federal Revenue Service, in order for the information to correspond.
Medical graduates who wish to use their results to compete for Enare in order to compete for a medical residency position must indicate this option in the Enamed System. They must then continue their registration in the Enare System, just like Enamed 2026 participants who have already graduated in previous years.
Inep warns that only one registration will be accepted per CPF number and that, once completed, the registration cannot be canceled.
Enare 2026/2027
Fourth-year medical students who participate in Enamed cannot enroll in Enare or use this result for selection processes for direct access medical residency programs.
The completing Enamed 2026 participant who wishes to adopt the results for participation in the 2026/2027 National Residency Exam must comply with the rules and pay the Enare registration fee, which is also open for registration from this Monday (15), managed by Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) this year.
Note reuse
In this edition of Enamed, for the first time, graduates of the undergraduate medicine course and graduates who intend to apply for a place at Enare in 2026, who have a valid result in Enamed 2025, will be able to choose between using the grade already obtained to participate in Enare or taking Enamed 2026 to try to obtain a new, better grade.
The choice of grade must be made when registering for Enamed 2026.
Even those candidates who choose to reuse their previous grade and do not wish to participate in the Enamed 2026 test must register for the exam to indicate the chosen option. In case of reusing a previous Enamed result and also carrying out the 2026 edition, for classification purposes, the Enare system will automatically pull the highest score on the Item Response Theory (TRI) proficiency scale.
This means that, if the candidate is better in 2026, the new one is worth it; if the 2025 score was higher, it will be maintained for classification.
