The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicanos-PB), announced this Monday (15) that he has called for tomorrow afternoon (16) a meeting of the college of leaders to discuss the federal government's bill (PL) 1838/26, which ends the six-day work schedule for each day off, the 6X1 scale.
The objective is to have points in the text clarified by the rapporteur, federal deputy Léo Prates (Republicanos-BA).

Submitted by the government in April, the project defines the limit of the normal working day in the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) at 40 hours per week, and eight daily hours, in addition to guaranteeing workers two paid weekly breaks of 24 consecutive hours.
Because it was forwarded on an urgent basis, the proposal is blocking the agenda of the Chamber plenary, which can only deliberate on proposals for Amendments to the Constitution (PECs), Legislative Decree Projects (PDLs) and urgent requests until the project is voted on.
"I called a Leaders Meeting for tomorrow (16), at 2 pm. On that occasion, deputy @leopratesba will clarify points of his opinion on the PL that ends the 6x1 scale, despite having already approved the PEC on the reduction of working hours. With the consideration of the matter, we unlock the House's agenda", wrote Motta on a social network.

On Thursday (11), Motta appointed deputy Leo Prates, who also reported the PEC text that ended the 6x1 scale, as the project's rapporteur. The text approved at the end of May reduced the weekly working hours from 44 to 40 hours and establishes a scale of five days of work and two days off (5x2). The PEC is currently under analysis in the Federal Senate.
In addition to the bill that ends the 6X1 scale, the leaders will also debate PL 896/23, which equates misogyny with the crime of racism, which makes it non-bailable and imprescriptible.
Last Wednesday (10), the coordinator of the working group debating the proposal, deputy Tabata Amaral (PSB-SP), presented a new version of the text, which has already been approved by the Senate.
"Congresswoman @tabataamaralsp will present the results of the Misogyny GT. We should vote on both projects in plenary this week", added Motta.
The rapporteur mainly changed the definition of misogyny.
“In order to preserve the conceptual uniformity of criminal and criminal procedural legislation on the subject, we propose replacing the terms ‘hatred’ and ‘aversion’, provided for in the project to characterize misogyny, with the expressions ‘disparagement or discrimination’ due to the ‘condition of women’.”
