Presidency candidate Romeu Zema (Novo) said he did not regret the criticism he made towards senator and also pre-candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) after the release of audios about conversations with banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master. Zema indicated that the right should unite in a possible second round against the PT.
Zema participated in an event for Veja magazine, at the Santos Augusta theater, in São Paulo, this Monday (15). Ronaldo Caiado (União), Fernando Haddad (PT) and governor Tarcísio de Freitas (União) were also present.
Asked about the deterioration in the relationship with allies from the conservative camp and about the reaction of members of Bolsonarism to the statements, Zema stated that he has already said what he had to say about the case involving Flávio and that his position is public. "What I said about Flávio Bolsonaro has already been said, it is public. Now, move on," he stated.

Despite this, the former Minas Gerais governor sought to reduce the burden of friction and signaled electoral alignment in a possible dispute against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). According to him, even though he criticizes the senator, his differences with the PT are greater.
“If I have criticisms of Flávio, I have much more criticism of the PT”, said Zema.
The statements come after impeached deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL), son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and brother of Flávio, suggested on social media a “general break” with Novo in reaction to criticism made by Zema.
