Ankara Etimesgut Military Airport was transformed into "Ankara-VIP Airport" with a huge investment of 10 billion liras and was opened with the participation of AKP President Erdoğan. Only NATO leaders, President Erdoğan and high-level protocols will use the airport, which was completed in record time before the NATO summit in July and will remain completely closed to scheduled civilian flights.
