Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan will pay an official visit to Moscow on June 16-17, upon the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. While there is a possibility of meeting with Putin during the visit, the main agenda topics will include the Russia-Ukraine war, increasing tension in the Black Sea, regional crises and Turkey's mediation role. Ankara is also expected to convey the message that it is ready to host new negotiation processes. The US-Iran process, developments in Syria, Gaza and the Caucasus will also be discussed during the meetings.
