A 15-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly stealing 400,000 yen worth of points from Minatoku PAY, a digital local currency distributed to residents by Tokyo's Minato Ward as a measure against rising prices. It is alleged that he took the notice from the mailbox of the apartment complex and used someone else's gift code to charge points.
