The University of Brasília (UnB) has opened registrations for the Residency in Artificial Intelligence, a free practical training program that offers 150 places and a monthly scholarship of R$1,500 in the Federal District.

Registration can be made online, on the residency website, until June 29th. Classes are scheduled to start on August 17, 2026.
To participate, you must be studying or have already completed higher education and be available for face-to-face classes in Brasília. Basic knowledge in programming (Python), mathematics, statistics and fundamentals of artificial intelligence are also required.
The selection process will be divided into three stages:
online registration
in-person test
and face-to-face interview.
The course lasts eight months and will be held in a hybrid format, with face-to-face activities three times a week on the Gama campus, in the Federal District.

The residency is promoted by the Eldorado Institute, in partnership with UnB, and is part of the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Program (PBIA), of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, coordinated by Softex.
The objective is to train professionals in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analysis, focusing on practical activities and development of real projects, accompanied by specialized mentors.
The result is expected in July. Participation is free, and all those selected receive a scholarship during the course period. At the end, graduates will be entitled to a certificate.
