Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Market Directorate announced fruit and vegetable consumption data for May. According to the data, the most preferred fruit by Istanbulites was watermelon and the vegetable was tomato. The most expensive product sold in the markets was recorded as cherry, which reached 310.33 lira per kilogram.
