Turning tourism towards "green energy"/targeting the production of 50 megawatts of renewable electricity

Tehran - IRNA - The Secretary of the National Nature Tourism and Green Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts announced the implementation of the "Tourism Green Electricity" project with the aim of developing small-scale solar power plants in the country's tourism facilities and said: With the completion of the executive and financial infrastructure, this project can reach the capacity of producing 50 megawatts of renewable electricity in a three-year period.
