This Sunday's Fantástico (14) covered the collision between two helicopters that killed six people in Rio de Janeiro. According to the civil police, among the dead are the American singer Oliver Tree, and the Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim Díaz.
The report heard witnesses who reported hearing a sequence of explosions.
According to reports, the bangs caught the attention of those in the region and were followed by the crash of aircraft. A camera recorded the moment of the mid-air collision and the crash of one of the helicopters seconds later.
General services assistant Valnice Nascimento said she heard a very loud noise before noticing the accident.
"I heard a very loud noise, like an explosion. When I looked to the side, I saw that scene. Already the two helicopters falling, already the wreckage", he reported.
Psychologist Cecília Mesquita also described moments of tension shortly after the collision between the aircraft.
"It was a terrible noise. Immediately, everyone started to see fire, smoke...", he said.
Military Police reserve colonel Genésio Neves stated that he looked in the direction of the noise and saw one of the aircraft plummeting.
"When I looked in the direction of that noise, I saw a helicopter falling," he said.

Among the victims were pilots Charles Marsillac, who was alone in one of the aircraft, and Alexandre Souza, who commanded the other helicopter. Brazilian music producer Lucas Brito Chaves, known as Lucas Frota, and Argentineans Lucas Gignale, director of music videos, and Gaspar Prim Díaz, YouTuber Gaspi, who had more than 3 million followers on social media, also died.
The sixth victim is American singer Oliver Tree, who was traveling in Brazil.
The Civil Police confirmed the names of the six people who were in the helicopters involved in the collision. Official identification, however, still depends on expert examinations, as most of the bodies were charred.
The investigation will be carried out by the Center for Research and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Cenipa), while the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) investigates the situation of the aircraft and pilots.
