During the fight, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, whose age was not recorded. The victim was rescued by a team from the Special Secretariat for Indigenous Health (Sesai). Police officers found the rescue vehicle already on the road, on its way to medical care. After finding the victim, the police went to the house where the crime occurred, arrested the suspect and seized the knife used in the attack. The case was registered as attempted murder. The PM reported that the case took a long time to be registered due to difficult access to the region.
