Meteorology Advisor Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen said that after a short-term cooling in Turkey, temperatures will increase again, reaching 30 degrees and above, especially in the western regions. He warned that heavy rainfall and sudden weather events caused by "super cells" may be seen in the inner regions in the afternoon. It was stated that the risk of forest fire increased with temperatures exceeding 35-40 degrees in the Aegean and Mediterranean, and that a heat wave effective in Europe could also affect Turkey.
