He explained that resuscitation maneuvers were performed and then the grandfather was sedated and intubated. With stabilization, 'Grandpa Anésio' was transferred to a hospital in Araraquara, a neighboring city, where he could not resist and was confirmed dead on Saturday (13). The wake for 'Grandpa Anésio' began at the end of Saturday at the Church of Praça Matriz de Rincão and continued during the early hours of this Sunday (14). A funeral mass was scheduled for 9am. "My grandfather and grandmother are not just important to me, but to the whole family. It all started with a recording of Caio, showing his grandfather, who was 84 years old at the time, saying he wanted to go buy some cachaça to take with medicine. That day, the duo only had 33 TikTok followers. The video went viral and they reached 100 thousand followers on the same day. After 24 hours, there were already 150 thousand. At first, the grandson said that his grandparents didn't know they were being filmed, but now they know and they joke about the moments. "I'm amazed at the fame we've gained, so we're happy," said retired Anezio Fiori.
