Santa Casa de Barra do Piraí Disclosure/PMBP A 70-year-old woman was injured in an accident involving a car and a motorcycle late this Saturday morning (13) on the RJ-145 Highway, in Barra do Piraí (RJ). The collision happened at km 54, in the Belvedere neighborhood. According to the Traffic Police Command (CPTran), the car was traveling along the highway when it hit the motorcycle, which was traveling in the opposite direction of the road. Due to the impact, the elderly woman suffered injuries and had to be rescued by Fire Department teams at the scene. Still according to CPTRAN, the victim was taken to Santa Casa. A 55-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman, who were also involved in the incident, emerged unharmed.
