A Palestinian official explains to “Sputnik” the goals and danger of the Israeli “billion shekels” budget for expanding settlements

Hassan Brejiya, Head of the International Law Department at the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, said that the Israeli government’s allocation of a huge budget worth one billion shekels for the benefit of the settlements in the West Bank comes in the context of the systematic work of this extreme right-wing government, which leads, directs and arms the settlements, in addition to its introduction of laws in order to legitimize it and defend the settlers.
