Duality of the Salafi mind

Perhaps the greatest incident that has marked the history of Muslims, and continues to cast a shadow over their present, is the clash between the Companions of the Prophet (may God bless him and his family and grant them peace) in “the best of centuries,” as they say, which split them into two parts: the supporters of Al-Saqifa, or what is known as “Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah,” and the Shiites of Ali bin Abi Talib, who are opposed to the principle of Shura.
