Syria: Arrest of a member of the Popular Committees in Daraa who arrested opponents and blackmailed their families

The Syrian authorities arrested one of the most wanted men in Daraa Governorate, on charges of handing over opponents to the security services during the era of the previous regime, then extracting huge sums of money from their families in exchange for false promises of their release.
