General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) published the weather report on Saturday, June 13. Meteorology issued a "yellow" warning for 30 provinces due to heavy showers and thunderstorms. CNN TÜRK Meteorology Advisor Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen also listed the provinces where heavy rainfall is expected and said, "We say be careful. Today, after around 13:00, there is heavy rainfall. As we call it a super cell, there are heavy rainfalls." On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Şen said, "The water of the Mediterranean has started to warm up. What does this show us? There will be more convective precipitation in the Mediterranean and in the western regions of Türkiye. It shows that there will be more supercells, tornadoes and natural disasters. We will see a lot of such natural disasters in Türkiye this year."
