The government informed that it will mobilize a large part of the Military Police personnel, in addition to technological resources and specialized units, to guarantee the safety of fans during the Seleção's debut.
The special policing scheme will be used in the main public gathering points in the capital and in several regions of the state.
The Corporation's operational and specialized units will operate in various neighborhoods of the capital and in municipalities in Baixada Fluminense, the Metropolitan Region, Costa Verde and the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
In the Greater Tijuca region, 246 military police officers from the 6th BPM (Tijuca), from units of the Special Operations Command (COE) and the Specialized Policing Command (CPE) will reinforce policing at events organized on Jorge Rudge, Pereira Nunes and Zulmira streets, in addition to the traditional Alzirão, which is expected to receive thousands of fans.
The security scheme will have the support of the Special Rondas and Crowd Control Battalion (RECOM), the Airmobile Group (GAM), the Mounted Police Regiment (RPMont) and teams from Operation Tijuca Presente.

In Copacabana, more than 200 military police will be mobilized to guarantee the safety of fans who will watch the games broadcast at the Copacabana Arena.
The space installed on the beachfront, at Avenida Princesa Isabel, will have reinforced policing, including patrolling with motorcycles and more than 20 Corporation vehicles.

In addition to the work of agents from the 19th BPM (Copacabana), the security scheme will include teams from the Special Rounds and Crowd Control Battalion (RECOM) and the Dog Action Battalion (BAC).
The motorcycle teams from the 1st Area Policing Command (1st CPA) will carry out patrols along the entire length of Avenida Atlântica, with the aim of increasing the feeling of security for residents, tourists and fans, in addition to working to prevent and repress crimes of robbery and theft.
Operational planning also foresees the use of technological resources, real-time monitoring and reinforcement of overt policing in areas with large circulation of people, ensuring a prompt response to possible incidents.
