Two suspects in the death of a young man were already arrested and a third was located in Bela Vista, in Boa Vista. Disclosure/PCRR Three men were the targets of an operation that clarified the homicide of José Angel Morales Labarca, 19, who was shot to death on February 7 this year, on Avenida Manoel Felipe, in the Buritis neighborhood. The action took place this Friday (12), in Boa Vista. Two people under investigation, aged 23 and 25, were already in prison due to another operation, by the Narcotics Repression Police Station (DRE), which investigates crimes linked to drug trafficking. In addition to the Bela Vista neighborhood, the actions also took place in the Alvorada, Nova Cidade and Caranã neighborhoods. The police seized cell phones and a vehicle that, according to the investigation, had been used in the crime. The material will undergo forensic examination and should help advance the investigation, according to the police. The investigation indicates that the perpetrators used a black car to monitor José Angel's movements moments before the attack. “The investigation made it possible to identify those involved, clarify the dynamics of the execution and gather consistent evidence that points to the participation of those investigated in the homicide,” said Evangelista. The report from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) indicated that the victim's death occurred due to traumatic brain injury and hypovolemic shock. The prisoners and the seized materials were taken to the DGH headquarters, where procedures are ongoing, according to the police.
